Bulykin Believes He Will Play on the Same Team as Ronaldo's Son

Former Russian national team footballer Dmitriy Bulykin did not rule out the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo playing on the same team as his son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. The expert shared these views during an interview with the publication “Euro-Football.Ru.”

“I think he has such a desire. It would be a beautiful story, whether it happens or not — time will tell.

He takes great care of himself and his body, and he wants to play football for as long as possible. I believe that when the time comes for his son to play on the same team with him, this plan might come true,” said Bulykin.

In November 2025, Cristiano Jr. scored his first goal for the Portugal U-16 national team during the Federation Cup tournament held in Turkey. He opened the scoring in the match against Wales in the 42nd minute, with the game ending in a 3-0 victory.

It is worth noting that both the 40-year-old Ronaldo and his son are part of Saudi Arabia's “Al-Nassr” club system. While Ronaldo has become one of the club's shareholders, his son is currently playing in the club’s academy.
