Nuri Sahin also noted that the competition will continue until the final round. According to him, whoever deserves it after 34 rounds will occupy the top position. The coach expressed respect for his rivals but stated that his team will fight until the last minute.
“After 34 rounds, whoever deserves it will take the top spot. If Göztepe finishes above us, I will congratulate them. That means they deserved it. We will fight until the last round and go into the match against Gaziantep only for a win,” said the Basaksehir manager.
At the press conference, Sahin was also asked about potential rotations in the final round. The expert expressed a cautious opinion, saying that every club and coach has their own decision to make.
“Let my words not be misunderstood. Sometimes there are rotations in the last games of the season, and young players may take the field. But that is the decision of each club and coach. I don't want to cause any controversy or rumors. Everyone does their job, and then we look at the result,” Nuri Sahin commented.
