The final matchday of Group E in the Uzbekistan Cup has concluded, determining the teams advancing to the knockout stage. Tashkent’s Bunyodkor performed convincingly, finishing first with 9 points.
In the final round, Bunyodkor hosted Jayxun and defeated their opponents 4:0. The capital side took the initiative from the start, attacked aggressively, and effectively decided the match's outcome in the first half.
The scoring opened in the 10th minute through Shamsiddin Tursunmahammadov. Shortly after, in the 23rd minute, Nosirjon Abdusalomov extended Bunyodkor's lead. In the 29th minute, Shahzodjon Ne’matjonov scored the third goal, once again outsmarting the Jayxun defense.
Bunyodkor did not ease off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Shahzodjon Ne’matjonov found the net again to complete his brace. Thus, the capital club secured a 4:0 victory and finished the group with a 100% record.
Bunyodkor fielded players including Muhammadyusuf Sobirov, Narimonjon Ahmadjonov, Sardor Rahmonov, Islom Anvarov, Azizbek To‘lqinbekov, Dmitriy Pletnyov, Shahzodjon Ne’matjonov, Abdulfayz Bobomurodov, Shamsiddin Tursunmahammadov, Nosirjon Abdusalomov, and Shahboz Umarov.
Jayxun played with Jasurbek Umrzoqov, Asadbek Esemuratov, Umidjon Karilov, Allayar Maratov, Nurduelet Tleubayev, Rashid Arazov, Bahadir Sultanmuratov, Otajon Niyazmetov, Allayar Qalilayev, Jasurbek Otajonov, and Sardorbek Xidirboyev.
In the group's other match, Qizilqum defeated TerDU 4:1. This win allowed the Navoi side to end the group stage on a positive note.
For Qizilqum, Murodali Usmonov opened the scoring in the 9th minute. In the 61st minute, Hushbaqov scored a consolation goal for TerDU. However, Qizilqum regained control in the following minutes. Usmonov scored his second goal in the 71st minute to complete a brace. Shaxzodbek Rahmatullayev in the 81st minute and Shebetun in the 87th minute added further goals to finalize the 4:1 scoreline.
TerDU fielded Ulug‘bek Urinbayev, Jahongir Ahmadov, Saidmurod Karimov, Oybek Shomurodov, Sanjarbek Abduxalilov, Nuriddin Hasanov, Abduraim Abdurashidov, Jasurbek Allamurodov, Abdumalik Norqobilov, O‘ral Choriyev, and Shoxjahon Zaripov.
Qizilqum’s lineup included Farhod Rahmatov, Murodali Usmonov, Fayzullobek Jumanqo‘ziyev, Shaxzodbek Rahmatullayev, Shaxzod Turopov, Nikola Kumburovich, Ilhomjon Kenjayev, Bobomurod Bozorov, Muhamadaziz Ibrahimov, Samandar Shukurillayev, and Diyor Rahmatilloyev.
