3 cities of Uzbekistan entered the top 30 list of Asia

Three cities of Uzbekistan — Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva — have received international recognition. The Polish edition of “National Geographic Traveler” included them among the 30 most beautiful cities in Asia.

The author of the article, journalist Agnieszka Franus, emphasized the rich historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan and the architectural charm of the cities of the Great Silk Road. The Registan ensemble, Shah-i-Zinda, the Bibi-Khanym Mosque and the Amir Temur Mausoleum in Samarkand were mentioned as architectural masterpieces of global significance.

The Ark Fortress and ancient madrasahs of Bukhara demonstrate the city’s importance in the history of statehood, while the Ichan-Kala complex in Khiva was highly praised as an open-air museum.

The magazine also noted the conditions created for tourists. Security, transport infrastructure, the balance between price and quality of services have made Uzbekistan a convenient destination for independent travel. In addition, the hospitality of the local population was especially highlighted in the article.
