Most importantly, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reacted sharply to these attacks. He said that with this action, Israel has once again demonstrated its "crime" and "prepared a bitter fate for itself." According to Khamenei, Israel has "shown its disgusting character" and committed a serious crime against Iran and will inevitably face "severe punishment." He also called on the country and people to be vigilant and united.

The Israeli side, in its statements, stated that this operation was carried out in order to maintain security in the region, in particular, to limit Iran's nuclear capabilities. Defense Minister Israel Katz stressed that "if this opportunity is missed, it will be impossible to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons."

At the same time, after the attack, Israel declared a state of emergency, closed its airspace and put tens of thousands of soldiers on alert. The country also officially announced that it was expecting a retaliatory strike from Iran.
