42 People Injured as a Result of Russia’s Airstrike on Kharkiv

After Russia's aviation carried out bombings in the central part of Kharkiv, 42 people, including six children, were injured. This was reported by the head of Kharkiv region administration, Oleg Sinegubov. At least six of the injured were hospitalized. The aftermath of the bombings led to a large-scale disaster, and it turned into a situation where efforts to deal with the consequences are still ongoing.

According to the city mayor, Igor Terekhov, on July 24, Russian military forces dropped two directional bombs along the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. One bomb hit a civilian enterprise, causing a fire. The second bomb exploded in front of a multi-story building, burning about 15 cars that were parked there.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, after releasing video footage and photos taken at the attack site, said: "These are completely senseless strikes with no military objectives. And we see that Russia’s only goal is to continue aggression and killing. We need help: strong air defense, expanding weapons production. We hope for cooperation with all partners and are grateful to everyone who is ready to help."

Additionally, the Ukrainian leadership emphasized the intensification of these strikes and the need for significant foreign assistance. Solving the challenges faced by the residents of the city and dealing with the overall dangerous situation in collaboration with partners and states is extremely important, and gratitude was expressed to all those ready to help Ukraine.

This situation signals not only the worsening of the war environment but also the increasing danger to human lives. The global assistance received helps ensure the safety of the country.
