An unexpected incident occurred at the BMW Championship golf tournament held in the USA. Famous British golfer Tommy Fleetwood’s shot stopped just a few millimeters away from the hole, reports Pravilamag.
For several seconds, the ball remained motionless, but suddenly it still dropped into the hole. The replay showed that the cause of this strange moment was a fly — the insect flew over the ball, seemingly “pushing” it, and as a result, the ball went into the hole.
Thanks to this shot, Fleetwood managed to record a “birdie.” This situation allowed him to take fourth place in the competition. At the same time, he secured a large prize of 910,000 US dollars.
