Kazakhstan has begun a new stage in becoming a digital state

Artificial intelligence and digital technologies have become an integral part of real life, not an abstract future. This was stated by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, Beybut Atamkulov, at a round table in Tashkent.

The conference was attended by leading experts, analysts, and representatives of the mass media of Uzbekistan, where the address of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people on September 8 of this year was comprehensively discussed.

The address "Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Tasks and Solutions Through Digital Transformation" outlined important directions for the country's development. In particular, the field of artificial intelligence was identified as a special strategic priority.

Ambassador Atamkulov emphasized that the head of state has set a huge goal for us: within three years, Kazakhstan must become a fully digital state. In this regard, the President proposed the creation of a special Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development and the adoption of a Digital Development Code. Currently, the new ministry has begun its work and is implementing initial projects.

At the same time, the first supercomputer in the country's history was recently launched in Kazakhstan. The National Bank introduced the first Kazakhstani stablecoin linked to the tenge. This is considered an important step in the formation of the digital asset ecosystem. Within the framework of the Alatau City project in the Almaty region, a new city is being built based on smart technologies, and it is planned to become the country's first digital city.

It was emphasized that the tasks outlined in the address correspond to the rapid changes in the modern world and are consistent with the goals of the states of the region.

According to the ambassador, the development of a national model of artificial intelligence in Uzbekistan and the effective implementation of state programs will further expand the prospects for digital cooperation between the two countries. By the way, the Central Asian Innovation Hubs platform is operating. This is also evidenced by the implementation of international startups through joint projects of Astana Hub and IT Park Uzbekistan.

As noted at the "round table," Central Asia is currently experiencing a new historical stage of integration, during which a solid foundation is being created for the future prosperity and stability of the region.

At the same time, it was noted that the addresses of the head of Kazakhstan to the people have become a tradition in the political life of the country.
