According to the sample survey of households of the National Statistics Committee, in January-August 2025, the share of women using the Internet in Uzbekistan reached 93.1%.
During this period, the internet usage rate among men was quite high, amounting to 95.3 percent. These data clearly demonstrate the gender distribution among internet users.
Over the years, the proportion of women using the Internet has changed as follows:
2021 - 72.6%;
2022 - 81 percent;
2023 - 87.3%;
2024 - 92.4%;
2025 (January-August) - 93.1 percent.
Also, the proportion of men using the Internet over the years looks like this:
2021 - 80.6%;
2022 - 86.9%;
2023 - 90.9%;
2024 - 94.2%;
2025 (January-August) - 95.3 percent.
These figures indicate a year-on-year increase in internet usage and an increased interest in digital technologies for both sexes. Although the difference between men and women is quite small, the number of regular internet users of both sexes is increasing.
