Local media reported that militants from the radical group "Ash-Shabob" attacked a correctional facility in Somalia. The militants are clashing with national intelligence forces.
Reportedly, some of the attackers were killed, while others broke into the prison. During the attack, some prisoners managed to escape.
According to the National Intelligence Agency (NISA), the number of attackers is at least eight, and operations are underway against them. Four militants were killed, the rest are still resisting inside the prison.
Somali special forces are also involved in the operation and are actively participating in controlling and managing the situation. This attack poses a serious threat to the country's security and internal order, and currently, local authorities are also taking measures to stabilize the situation.
