The Russian Ministry of Defense, in a statement, stated that the strikes targeted "the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and its supporting energy facilities, as well as port infrastructure serving the armed forces."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy strongly condemned the attack, emphasizing that Russia is not incapable of striking peaceful cities even on St. Michael's Day, a significant Christian holiday. According to him, Moscow's goal is to demoralize millions of Ukrainians and pose a constant threat to civilians.

Zelenskyy called on the international community to increase pressure on Russia and noted the need for further assistance to enhance the country's defense capabilities.
In Ukraine, such sharp attacks have once again awakened widespread public opinion about which side is on the side of peace and which side is continuing the war.
