The famous British car manufacturer Land Rover has officially presented a modernized version of one of its most legendary models - the Defender. The new Defender attracts attention not only with its slight changes in appearance, but also with its modern and innovative technologies.
In terms of exterior design, the main headlights of the car have been updated. Their design has changed significantly, and the central elements have become smaller than before. The taillights have a slightly tinted appearance, which gives the Defender a sporty and modern look.

One of the notable features is that now all trim levels will have a black front grille as standard. At the same time, special attention was paid to the color of the front and rear bumpers. They are now painted in silver or gray tones, which makes the exterior of the car more modern and eye-catching.

If we look at the interior, the main and most important innovation is the new generation multimedia system with a large 13.1-inch touch screen. This system has a high sensitivity and a modern interface, providing the driver with convenience and a high level of control capabilities.

The new Defender model also has a special focus on safety. In particular, a special infrared camera has been introduced to monitor the driver's attention. It is hidden in the steering column and immediately gives warning signals when the driver is tired or distracted, helping to prevent possible accidents. The driver can adjust the camera's operating mode to his liking or turn it off completely.
In addition, for the first time, Land Rover has equipped its Defender model with an adaptive cruise control system specially adapted for off-road conditions. This technology makes driving on extremely difficult off-road terrain as comfortable as possible. It automatically controls the speed of the car and the distance to obstacles in front, allowing the driver to easily control even in difficult situations.

Land Rover has not yet provided information about specific changes in the engines. Therefore, experts assume that the previous reliable engines may remain. Among them are:
- 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine (246 or 345 horsepower);
- 2.0-liter gasoline plug-in hybrid engine (296 horsepower, electric range up to 48 km);
- 5.0-liter V8 gasoline engine (419, 493 and 518 horsepower).
The flagship Octa version will continue to be produced with its previous high-level technical capabilities.

It was announced that the starting price of the updated Defender in the European market will start at about $ 70 thousand. With this, Land Rover is trying to maintain its competitive edge with one of its most popular models. The new Defender can become a reliable and convenient companion for drivers not only on the road, but also in off-road conditions. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
