Airport closed due to drones
Flights at Munich International Airport were temporarily suspended after unidentified drones appeared. 17 flights were cancelled, and 15 aircraft were redirected to other cities. Nearly 3,000 passengers were affected.

According to police, the drones were seen twice in the evening. Their origin remains unknown.

Recently, similar incidents have been reported at other European airports. Copenhagen and Oslo airports were also temporarily closed due to drones.

Accommodation and light meals were provided for passengers stranded at Munich airport.
