From October 1, 2025, a service for purchasing "beautiful" license plates has been launched in Uzbekistan. Currently, you can apply for this service through the Safe Road Traffic Safety app.
According to a new government decree, the sale of license plates through auctions will not be carried out in the country. Previously put up for auction and not sold, numbers of categories 1-3 are sold only for individuals in the amount of 17 BRV (7 million soums). For legal entities, these figures are estimated at 25 times the BRV (10.3 million soums).
In this process, the auctioned and unsold numbers are included in the new database, and from January 1, 2026, everyone will be able to choose any combination of letters and numbers and buy a "beautiful" number for 7 million soums.
This event is a step towards creating new opportunities for pricing and purchasing numbers in the country. At the same time, this decision is aimed at ensuring the operation of the digital market on the basis of open and equal competition.
