Singer Rashid Kholikov sincerely and humorously shared how he met his spouse during an interview on the “Eslaymiz” program.
Answering the host’s question, “How did you meet your spouse?”, the artist responded with a smile. According to him, he met his wife Saida in 1992 at his sisters’ wedding. “We had gone there to perform. Suddenly I saw a beautiful girl entering. I thought, I wish I could meet her. At that time, there were no phones or Telegram. I wrote my name and phone number on a piece of paper, asked her to call, and sent it through Jamol”, he said.
According to the singer, Saida called him jokingly to “drive him crazy,” but that simple call ended up connecting their destinies. “She ‘drove me so crazy’ that today we are sitting with four grandchildren. We dated for two years and got married in 1994. It’s been 31 years, and we still ‘drive each other crazy’,” the artist recalled with a smile.
