He Squeezed a Pimple on His Face — Suddenly Faced the Risk of Death

Brazilian blogger and model Villian Silva showed through his own experience how squeezing an ordinary pimple can lead to dangerous consequences. On social media, Ken de CG the blogger known as Ken de CG was hospitalized after squeezing an inflamed pimple near his mustache.

He said he first removed an inflamed hair and then squeezed the pimple. Soon afterward, his face became severely swollen and his condition worsened. Doctors said the infection could cause serious complications.

According to Villian Silva, in the worst-case scenario, the infection could have spread to his brain.

“My face became severely swollen because of this pimple. I was at risk of developing meningitis. It could have affected my brain and led to life-threatening consequences,” the blogger said.

Dermatologist Daniela Cavalcante de Almeida Manjani explained that the area between the nose and the corners of the mouth is known in medicine as the “danger triangle.” This is because the blood vessels in this area are directly connected to structures in the brain, increasing the risk of rapid infection spread.

The specialist noted that squeezing an inflamed pimple can push bacteria deeper into the tissues. This may lead to serious complications such as cavernous sinus thrombosis, meningitis, a brain abscess or sepsis.

Villian Silva is currently continuing his treatment. After what happened to him, he decided to warn people on social media about the dangers of squeezing pimples without medical guidance.

“I nearly lost my life because I squeezed an ordinary pimple,” the blogger said.
