Gasoline and gas prices expected to increase: new tariffs from April 1

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. ORQ-1014 adopted on December 24, 2024, changes were made to the main directions of tax and budget policy from January 1, 2025. Based on this, excise tax rates on petroleum products and gas were increased.

As a result, retail prices for such types of fuel as gasoline, diesel fuel, liquefied and compressed gas are expected to increase from April 1.

For example, the price of AI-80 and higher gasoline may increase from 476 soums to 525 soums per liter. Similarly, AI-91 gasoline is expected to increase from 425 soums to 470 soums.

The price of diesel fuel is being increased from 476 soums to 525 soums per liter. The price of liquefied gas per liter will increase from 476 soums to 525 soums, while the price of compressed gas per cubic meter will increase from 678 soums to 750 soums.
