Uzbeks warned about a new financial pyramid scheme

Uzbekistan is warning its citizens about financial fraud through the "XCM" platform. This was reported by the information service of the "Cybersecurity Center" state unitary enterprise.

It is noted that currently, there is an increasing trend of attracting Uzbeks through the widely circulated "xcmwxx" website on the internet, under the pretext of "easy earnings" and "account recovery." In reality, this is a classic financial pyramid and a type of fraud executed through "phishing" methods.

The fraud scheme operates as follows: users are alarmed with excuses such as a "server malfunction" or "hacker attack." The site informs users that the system has allegedly been attacked by unknown hackers and that data has been temporarily lost.

In fact, this is a falsehood, invented to scare the user and urge them to make a quick payment. At each level of the platform, a separate payment is required.

The system includes artificial levels such as "C2" to "C8", as well as "Partner." It should be specially noted that payments for each level are not made through official payment systems but are instead transferred to the personal bank card of a specific individual.

This clearly shows that this platform has no connection with government agencies or other legal entities, and that it is run by fraudsters.
