UFC President Dana White expressed his opinion on the issue of organizing competitions in Russia. According to him, this process will be influenced by two major political figures - US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We can hold UFC fights in Moscow or St. Petersburg. But whether this will happen depends on Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. You understand what I mean," White said in an interview with the Ushataika YouTube channel.
This statement means that UFC representatives may encounter certain obstacles in holding major competitions in Russia. It is worth noting that the UFC has previously organized a tournament in Moscow, and Russian fighters have achieved great success in the promotion.
Recall that the last major UFC tournament - "UFC 313" was held in the United States. So far, no official decision has been made on whether the promotion will hold another tournament in Russia. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
