At the G1-category event held in Albania’s capital Tirana, Uzbekistan’s national team led by Pavel Khan took to the mats with a large roster, showcasing team spirit and skill at a high level. Most importantly, a result was recorded that further lifts our athletes’ mood ahead of the World Championships: our team captured a total of 15 medals — 10 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze.
Throughout the tournament, Uzbekistan’s taekwondo athletes displayed superior mastery in highly competitive weight classes, withstood pressure in decisive bouts, and crossed the finish line with a strong result. This medal haul has given our team confidence and strength ahead of the World Championships.
