Former head coach of the Uzbekistan national team, Timur Kapadze, sent a heartfelt farewell message on his Instagram page. He announced the official end of his career with the national team, recalling the emotions, victories, and experiences he had gained over the years.
"My career with the national team has come to an end. These years were filled with emotions, unforgettable moments, and significant victories. "I express my deep gratitude to the players, the team's staff, and the federation's leadership for their trust and close cooperation," the specialist wrote.
Kapadze especially emphasized the fans in his remarks:
"Thank you very much to my fans who inspire the team every minute and give strength with their love and trust! Without you, this road would not be so bright."
He noted that working as part of the national team was not only a matter of responsibility, but also a matter of pride. "I'm proud to be part of this team. I wish the national team good luck and new achievements in all future competitions," Kapadze concluded.
As a reminder, Timur Kapadze began his career as a national team coach in 2022 and led the team in several important international matches. During his tenure, the national team attracted many young players to the main squad and laid the foundation for the formation of a new generation.
The national team is now starting the next stage of its history under new head coach Fabio Cannavaro. Kapadze, in turn, will be remembered for his contribution to the development of Uzbek football.
