Today, four Uzbek boxers will compete in the quarterfinals

The Men’s World Championship, currently taking place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has reached an intense stage. Following yesterday’s matches, seven of our compatriots advanced to the quarterfinals, boosting the overall morale of our team.

Now, attention shifts to today's crucial encounters. In this round of the competition, four more of our boxers will enter the ring, striving to take another step closer to the main prize.

Today's matches will proceed as follows:

  • -54 kg: Asilbek Jalilov — Amadu Mohammed (Ghana)
  • -86 kg: Akmaljon Isroilov — Daulet Tulemissov (Kazakhstan)
  • -51 kg: Hasanboy Dusmatov — Samet Gumus (Turkey)
  • -57 kg: Khojanazar Nortojiyev — Sachin (India)

The first session will begin at 6:00 PM Tashkent time, while the second session starts at 10:00 PM Tashkent time. The Uzbekistan Boxing Federation has announced that both the coaching staff and athletes are in positive spirits ahead of the matches.

Our boxers are poised for major challenges in the ring. Each match is a critical step on the road to the quarterfinals. Fans are eagerly awaiting another historic day from our team.
