Michael Carrick has approached the position of interim head coach at "MU"...

At Manchester United, the issue of coaching has once again become the most interesting topic on the agenda. The club's management is seriously considering Michael Carrick as the main candidate for the interim head coach position.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reported that after last week's negotiations, the Red Devils' management has shown more confidence in Carrick's candidacy. Among the Mancunians, his good knowledge of the club environment and prior acquaintance with the team are considered important factors.
At first, the situation seemed different. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was cited as the main favorite for the temporary head coach position at Manchester United, and fans had been discussing this option with great interest. However, in recent days, the situation has changed dramatically, and Carrick has taken the lead.
The final decision is expected to be made today, 12 January. The club's management plans to give the team a clear direction in the short term.
As a reminder, Darren Fletcher has been serving as the interim head coach since Ruben Amorim's dismissal. Under his leadership, Manchester United drew a dramatic Premier League tie with Burnley (2-2). However, in the FA Cup, the team lost to Brighton 1-2 and were eliminated from the competition.
Therefore, the issue of restoring stability and confidence in the club is on the agenda. Now everyone's attention is focused on the management's decision: whether the next saver at Old Trafford will be Carrick or a last-minute surprise - it will soon become clear. In football, however, as usual, intrigue persists until the end.
