Uzbek boxers shine once again at the Asian Championship

In the capital of Mongolia — the city of Ulaanbaatar — the Asian Boxing Championship among adults has come to an end. The competition was remembered for a high level of rivalry, intense bouts, and the fight of strong athletes.
The men’s and women’s national teams of Uzbekistan, who participated in this prestigious tournament, once again demonstrated their potential, winning a total of 11 medals in the overall team standings. The team result: 3 gold, 4 silver, and 4 bronze medals — this once again proved that the country’s boxing school has become a stable force.
Gold medal winners
-65 kg: Abdulla Madaminov achieved victory thanks to a stable and confident performance.
-80 kg: Fazliddin Erkinboev defeated opponents one after another and became the champion.
-90 kg: Halimjon Mammasoliev delivered a gold medal to the team thanks to powerful punches and tactical superiority.
Silver medal winners
-75 kg: Javohir Abdurahimov reached the final in high form and won the silver medal.
-85 kg: Jasurbek Yuldoshev also reached the final, showing a fighting spirit.
Among women:
-75 kg: Aziza Zokirova.
-80 kg: Rukhshona Parpiyeva took second place.
Bronze medal winners
-60 kg: Abdurahmon Mahmudjonov won bronze thanks to consistent performances.
-57 kg: Nigina Uktamova managed to take a prize place in strong competition.
-70 kg: Oisha Toirova and +80 kg: Oltoyino Sotimboyeva also succeeded in reaching the podium.

A major role in this big success was played by the coaching staff: Rahmatjon Ruziohunov, Ruslan Telimbaev, Ramzjon Akhmedov, Sherzodbek Akhmadjonov, Nursultan Burikhanov, Barbaro Fernandez Jimenez, Islam Tadjibaev, Azim Khudoykulov, and Lazizbek Sharifjonov.
