Uli Hoeneß puts an end to rumors regarding Jose Mourinho and Michael Olise

Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeneß made sharp comments about Jose Mourinho ahead of the DFB-Pokal final. When asked about the Portuguese specialist who attended the final in Berlin, Hoeneß told Sky: "I hope I don't run into him; he could have skipped this trip." This was reported by Goal.com .

Mourinho's visit to Berlin came amid reports of his potential return to Real Madrid and his interest in Bayern winger Michael Olise. However, Hoeneß took a firm stance: "He can watch as much as he wants, it won't do any good. Michael Olise is not for sale," the 74-year-old official emphasized.

According to Bild, Mourinho attended the final at the invitation of Bayern's opponent, VfB Stuttgart. It is reported that the coach had scheduled a meeting with Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth. The meeting was organized by the GestiFute agency, managed by Mourinho's agent, Jorge Mendes.

Jose Mourinho is currently expected to return to Real Madrid. He is tipped to replace Álvaro Arbeloa, who took over after Xabi Alonso was dismissed in January but is set to leave at the end of the season. Consequently, several stars, including Olise, have appeared on the Madrid club's radar.

Alongside Real Madrid, Liverpool and Barcelona are also interested in Michael Olise's services. Nevertheless, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl and the club's management are unwilling to let the 24-year-old go. Olise, a key leader for the Munich side, is under contract until 2029.
