Roziqul Berdiyev reveals reasons for defeat to Navbahor

In the NavbahorNasaf match in Matchday 18 of the Super League, the Namangan side won 1–0. After the game, Nasaf head coach Roziqul Berdiyev discussed the reasons for his team’s defeat, the fans’ influence and their plans for the future.

1. Nasaf were punished for their own mistake

Berdiyev said that mistakes at the start of the match proved costly for his team.

“We started with a mistake. By conceding an own goal, we made things easier for the opposition.”

The coach also admitted that his team became rushed in attack after the break, made more technical errors and switched to long passes instead of accurate distribution.

2. Navbahor fans contributed to the victory

The nearly full stadium in Namangan and the atmosphere created by the fans gave Navbahor extra strength.

Berdiyev said:

“It worked in Navbahor’s favor, not ours. I think they made a worthy contribution to the victory.”

In his opinion, the more fans there are in the stadium, the greater the support and strength they provide to the team.

3. Nasaf’s problems will be resolved internally

The Qarshi side have been unable to produce consistent performances in recent rounds. This is causing concern among the team’s fans ahead of important upcoming matches.

However, Roziqul Berdiyev said he would not provide excessive details about the situation inside the team. At the same time, he expressed confidence that Nasaf have experienced players capable of changing the situation.

4. Another match against Navbahor on August 30

Most intriguingly, Nasaf will not have to wait long after this defeat. On August 30, the Qarshi side will face Navbahor again in Namangan. This time, the teams will meet in a Cup match.

“Today’s game showed that we can compete with this team. We can restore and prepare our team for this match,” Berdiyev said.

Will the response come in the Cup match?

Nasaf will have a chance to take revenge soon after their Super League defeat. The Cup match on August 30 is expected to be a highly significant clash for both teams.

While the Namangan side will want to maintain their winning momentum, Nasaf will try to recover from two consecutive defeats and respond in front of their fans.

Do you think Nasaf’s recent dropped points are a temporary dip, or will Navbahor retain the upper hand in the August 30 Cup clash?
