Arsenal Open Premier League Campaign With Convincing Win Over Coventry
The new Premier League season is underway. Reigning champions Arsenal hosted Coventry in London in their opening match of the 2026/27 campaign and won 3–0.
Mikel Arteta’s side controlled the match throughout and began their title defence with a convincing result.

The hosts then kept the victory under control. Coventry failed to create enough chances to change the score against the champions.
