Honor unveiled the new "WIN 360W GaN Adapter" power supply unit designed for gaming laptops and other high-power devices. This adapter has the ability to deliver up to 360 watts of power and is primarily developed for the brand's own products, including the new "Win H9" model. It can also work with other compatible laptops. Ixbt.com reports this.
A distinctive feature of the device is that it connects via a classic round DC connector instead of USB-C. While this somewhat limits flexibility, it allows the adapter to operate under significantly higher loads. The device measures 85 x 85 x 33 millimeters and weighs approximately 420 grams. For such a power level, the adapter has a fairly compact appearance.
The new unit uses GaN and SiC technologies, which provide high efficiency and prevent overheating. According to the manufacturer, the device uses automotive-grade components designed to operate under heavy loads for extended periods. On the Chinese market, this novelty is priced at approximately 70 dollars.
