Beeline confirms communication restrictions in Moscow from May 5-9

The mobile operator "Beeline" has announced potential restrictions on mobile communication and SMS services for its subscribers in Moscow from May 5 to May 9, coinciding with upcoming festive events in the capital. The company has advised users to rely on Wi-Fi networks for internet access and to utilize VoLTE technology for voice calls during this period. Other major operators, including "MTS," "Megafon," and "T2," have not commented on the situation. Similar widespread disruptions in mobile internet services were reported in the Moscow region in May 2025, attributed to security measures.
The mobile operator "Beeline" has begun sending warning messages to its subscribers in Moscow regarding potential restrictions on mobile communication and SMS services from May 5 to May 9.
