The MTS operator is introducing a free roaming service for subscribers traveling to popular tourist destinations. Users can now get 700 MB of internet traffic every 30 days and unlimited calls to MTS numbers in Russia. Additionally, traffic is not consumed when using navigation maps, translators, and banking apps. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
In the "My MTS" app, users can choose one of three modes: the free "Light" mode, "Comfort" for 1000 rubles per month (3 GB of internet, 50 minutes of calls), and "Maximum" for 3500 rubles (30 GB of internet, 100 minutes of calls). Once the free resources provided under the "Light" mode are exhausted, the user can remain in this mode or switch to paid packages.
The 30-day period starts after the service is activated, but the provided minutes and megabytes are only valid abroad. Roaming modes are available in 31 countries, including Turkey, UAE, China, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Egypt, Thailand, as well as several European countries (Germany, France, Italy, Spain) and Australia.
