Apple will abandon the classic black color for iPhone 18 Pro series smartphones. This was reported by the insider, relying on “Instant Digital”, according to “MacRumors”.
According to the information, Apple is removing black for its premium models and testing new and interesting colors. Previously, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max flagships were also released without black or dark gray variants. Currently, they are available only in Silver, Cosmic Orange, and Deep Blue colors.
According to “Bloomberg” journalist Mark Gurman, a dark red body variant is also being tested for iPhone 18 Pro. Previously, insiders mentioned purple and brown versions, but according to Gurman, these are all just different appearances of the red concept.
At the same time, the company plans to focus on conservative colors for its future foldable iPhone model. Space Gray or classic black, as well as silver or white, may be preferred.
The official presentation of the iPhone 18 Pro line is expected in September, while the foldable smartphone may appear on the market a little later this year.
