Now the "Apkan" border is intended only for citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan

The “Utukchu” border checkpoint on the Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan border has been temporarily closed. It has been replaced by the “Apkan” crossing point, according to the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for National Security.

According to the information, citizens and vehicles wishing to cross the border will now be directed to the temporary “Apkan” checkpoint. It operates daily from 07:00 to 23:00.

It is noted that “Apkan” is intended only for citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The Border Service advises travelers to plan their trips accordingly.
