President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Tianjin on an official visit at the invitation of the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping. The head of state was accompanied by his wife.

According to the program of the visit, on August 31 - September 1, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the summit sessions in the "SCO plus" format.
In addition, the president will participate in a historic military parade in Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of Japan's defeat in World War II.
