Following the first meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif signed a Joint Declaration.
In the presence of Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif, a ceremony was held for the exchange of the following bilateral documents:
- Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2026-2028;
- Agreement on the establishment of the Uzbek-Pakistani Business Council;
- Agreement on the organization of the Uzbek-Pakistani Interregional Forum;
- Protocol on the inclusion of a list of new goods in the Preferential Trade Agreement;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of providing port services and discounts;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of mining and geology;
- Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of agricultural research and development;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of pharmaceutical product control;
- Agreement on Cooperation in the Textile and Garment Industry;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of digital and information technologies;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of culture;
- Agreement on the Preservation, Study and Wide Promotion of the Scientific, Educational, Cultural, and Architectural Heritage of the Great Mughal Dynasty;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of sports;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of radiation and nuclear safety;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of ecology and natural disasters;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of emergency management;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of combating corruption;
- Agreement on cooperation in combating the illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic and new psychoactive substances and their precursors;
- Agreement on the transfer of persons sentenced to imprisonment for further serving of a sentence;
- Protocol on phytosanitary requirements for the export of fresh apples, figs, lemons, and hot peppers from Uzbekistan to Pakistan for consumption;
- "roadmap" between the defense ministries of the two countries.
Agreements were also signed on the establishment of an Uzbek-Pakistani expert council, cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan and the Department for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Business under the Ministry of Industry and Manufacturing of Pakistan, the khokimiyat of the city of Termez and the administration of the city of Peshawar, the khokimiyat of the city of Samarkand and the administration of the city of Islamabad, the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan and the Islamabad Institute for Strategic Studies, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and Peshawar University.
