Snow intensifies in Qamchiq - resorts temporarily suspended operations

Due to a sharp change in weather conditions in the mountainous regions, popular seasonal resorts located on the Kamchik Pass - "Snow City" and "Snow Palace" - have been temporarily closed.

Currently, intensive snowfall is observed on the 151st kilometer of the A-373 Tashkent - Osh highway, that is, around the Kamchik Pass. According to the warning of the responsible organizations, due to the high probability of avalanches in this area, entertainment venues have suspended their activities to ensure the safety of guests.

Currently, traffic on the Kamchik Pass is not restricted, but road users are advised to approach road conditions with caution. The resorts are expected to reopen once the weather stabilizes.
