One of the blocks of the famous construction market "Stroy Gorod," located in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, has been temporarily closed. The Ministry of Emergency Situations provided official information about this.

It was reported that on February 9, 2026, the Main Department of Emergency Situations of the city of Tashkent conducted a fire safety inspection of commercial buildings and premises in the construction market.

During the inspection, gross violations of fire safety regulations were discovered in 2 blocks of the market. Until the identified shortcomings are fully eliminated, temporary restrictions have been imposed on activities in this area.

Officials announced that the bloc's activities will be restored after the shortcomings are eliminated.
