The “Green Ticket” expands the nature protection system

A new decree has been adopted to more effectively implement the President's national project "Green Space". In accordance with it, the "Green Ticket" system is being introduced in order to protect nature and encourage environmental activity. This innovative system allows passengers to determine the carbon footprint of their route by plane, train, metro and taxi, and users can compensate for the environmental impact of the route by purchasing a "green ticket".
Also, the carbon footprint of products manufactured, stored and sold for domestic and foreign markets is calculated in the production, storage and logistics processes. Buyers can voluntarily compensate for the environmental impact of their products through a "green ticket" or appropriate mechanisms. These funds will be used only for planting and caring for trees, which will help maintain ecological balance.
The decree also encourages citizens and entrepreneurs who contribute to the project. Individuals who plant at least 100 trees or donate 10 million soums or more to the “Green Charity Fund” will receive the status of eco-active citizens. Entrepreneurs who organize the planting of at least 1,000 trees or donate more than 100 million soums to the platform will be awarded the status of “Eco-partner”. This status gives them the right to advertise their activities.
Also, individuals who ensure the planting of at least 50 thousand trees or donate more than 5 billion soums to the platform will be awarded the title of “Patron”. Citizens who have created 5 or more “green gardens” and “green public parks” at their own expense in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent will be awarded the “Future Creator” state prize.
The “Green Ticket” system not only ensures ecological sustainability, but also serves as an important step in actively involving citizens and entrepreneurs in environmental protection. Through this project, activity in nature conservation and expansion of green spaces becomes vital for each of us.
