An important telephone conversation was held between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud. At the beginning of the conversation, the leaders of the two states once again sincerely congratulated each other on the occasion of the past Ramadan holiday - Eid al-Fitr and expressed their good intentions.
During the conversation, it was noted that the tense situation and the increasing confrontation in the Middle East region have caused serious concern to the parties. In this regard, it was emphasized that preventing the spread of such unpleasant actions and their complete elimination will serve not only the interests of regional states, but also ensure global stability and peace.
The Uzbek leader once again emphasized that Uzbekistan stands in solidarity with the leadership and brotherly people of Saudi Arabia in these trying times. He also emphasized his full support for the Kingdom's balanced and rational foreign policy, which will further strengthen the atmosphere of cooperation and trust in the region.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also expressed special gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince for the practical assistance and favorable conditions provided to Uzbek citizens currently performing Umrah in Saudi Arabia. This will further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
In turn, Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud highly appreciated the sincere friendly relations and support expressed by the President of Uzbekistan. It was agreed to intensify high-level dialogues and coordinated joint efforts in order to raise bilateral and multilateral relations to a new level.
This dialogue not only further strengthened diplomatic relations between the two countries, but is also considered an important step in contributing to regional stability and peace in the Middle East. Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia is of great importance in ensuring the lives and security of citizens and promoting regional development.
