Uzhydromet has announced the weather forecast for May 29. According to the data, dry and hot weather will persist across the republic on Friday.
Tashkent city
The weather in the capital will be changeable, with no precipitation expected. Temperatures will be around 16-18° at night and 32-34° during the day.
Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region
Dry and hot weather will prevail in these regions. Strong winds and dust storms are possible in some areas. Daytime temperatures will rise to 33-38°.
Bukhara and Navoi regions
No precipitation is expected. The temperature is forecast to rise to 38° during the day.
Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh and Samarkand regions
The weather will be dry and slightly hot. Daytime temperatures are expected to be around 30-35°.
Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions
In the southern regions, the air temperature will rise to 33-38°. No precipitation is observed.
Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions
Dry and hot weather will also persist in the Fergana Valley. Daytime temperatures will be 30-35°.
Mountainous and foothill areas
No precipitation is expected in these areas. However, the risk of mudslides remains. Daytime temperatures will be around 18-23°.
According to synoptics, the summer season in Uzbekistan will begin with relatively unstable and warm weather this year. On the hottest days of summer, temperatures in some regions may rise to 45-47 degrees.
