Dangerous gift: a margherita in a candy took the life of a 17-year-old girl
A heartbreaking incident occurred in Brazil. 17-year-old Ana Luiza de Oliveira Neves died after eating a dessert sent by an unknown person. This was reported by CNN Brasil.

The incident unfolded like this: the girl's room was delivered by a courier. On the paper was a romantic note: "A dessert for the most beautiful girl I have ever met." There was no information about who sent the gift. Ana Luiza took a photo with the dessert and shared it on social networks - in fact, she did not know that she was posting the last photo of her life.

About an hour after eating the dessert, the girl's condition deteriorated sharply. Her parents took her to the hospital. Medical workers diagnosed her with "poisoning" and sent her home. However, the next day, the girl's condition worsened and she died on the way to the hospital.

During the investigation conducted by the police, the truth was revealed: the person who sent the candy was not an unknown fan, but a close friend of the victim. She admitted her guilt - she said that she had added a margherita to the candy out of envy of the girl's beauty and popularity.

It turned out that the accused had previously participated in suspicious cases. He also attempted to kill an acquaintance who had lost two boyfriends - fortunately, the victim survived.

The suspect is currently being held in a special institution for minors. The criminal investigation into the case is ongoing.
