Coffee prices to hit historic low in 2025
There’s good news in the global coffee market for all coffee lovers — by the end of 2025, the price of this delicious beverage is expected to drop by 10–20 percent. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing data from the ICE (Intercontinental Exchange) trading platform.

Currently, the price of arabica coffee is around $6856 per ton, marking the lowest level since December 2024. So far, the increase in coffee prices has largely been driven by natural disasters.

In December 2024, drought in Brazil and heavy rains and floods in Vietnam led to major production problems, pushing the price of arabica above $7500 per ton.

Market analyst Kirill Seleznyov commented:

“If weather conditions remain favorable, arabica may drop below $6000, and the price of robusta may fall below $3000,” he said.

The fall in coffee prices is good news not only for consumers but also for the broader consumer market. It could lead to lower coffee prices in cafés and restaurants worldwide and boost import-export activity.

According to analysts, if this trend continues, coffee products may become even more popular and accessible to a wider audience in the second half of 2025. So, the new season may very well begin with cheap and tasty coffee!
