In the current year, during the month of July, the Russian Armed Forces took control of 564 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory, according to Deep State analysts. This result is 8 km² more than in June and is recorded as the highest indicator since the beginning of the year.
According to the analysis, the highest activity after November 2024 was observed specifically in July — at that time, within one month, the Russian army occupied 730 km² of territory. This is the second largest geographic change in the past year.
It should be especially noted that after the low activity at the beginning of 2025, the competition for territory control has intensified again. According to experts, the latest results serve as an important signal about the dynamics at the front and a new stage of the war.
