Bernard Arnault may move to Leonardo’s villa in Italy

One of the world’s richest people, LVMH chief Bernard Arnault, is planning to turn the historic Atellani Palace in Italy into his personal residence, reports Peopletalk.
The ancient castle, famous for its “Leonardo’s vineyard”, is currently undergoing full restoration worth 1.3 million euros. Rumors suggest that Arnault may use it not only as a private home but also as a potential tax residence.
The palace, located in the heart of Milan, is considered a rare example of Renaissance architecture. Built in the 15th century and gifted by Ludovico il Moro to Giacomo da Atellano, the residence became even more famous thanks to the vineyard presented by Leonardo da Vinci in 1498. Destroyed during World War II, “Leonardo’s vineyard” was reconstructed in 2015 using historical Malvasia grape varieties.
