Pavel Durov, the founder of the Telegram messenger, commented on the large-scale theft at the Louvre Museum in Paris. He emphasized that this situation clearly demonstrates the general state of France, namely the crisis in the state system and society.
"The theft at the Louvre is no surprise to me. This indicates that a once-great country has entered a stage of decline. Here, instead of solving real problems, the government is spending more time misleading people with fictitious dangers," Durov wrote on his page.
According to the entrepreneur, the incident at the Louvre is not only a cultural loss, but also a sign of the weakening of the security system in France and a decline in public trust. According to him, this situation also revealed deep problems in the country's public administration system.
At the same time, Pavel Durov jokingly responded to the incident, writing, "I am ready to buy the stolen jewelry and return it to the Louvre." He added that by these words he meant the Louvre in Abu Dhabi and added: "Because no one can steal anything from there."
Recall that on October 19, unknown individuals entered the Louvre Museum in Paris under the guise of workers and stole jewelry from the Napoleonic era and 9 antique exhibits. The French Ministry of Culture considered this a crime against national cultural heritage and brought the investigation to the international level.
