Protests continue in Iran

According to Reuters, protesters in several cities in Iran have taken to the streets despite the government using force. Over the past three days, hundreds of people have been killed or injured, and medical staff report hospitals are full of the wounded. In Rasht and Tehran, the number of bodies brought to hospitals has reached hundreds.
The government has called the protesters "enemies of God" and increased the use of force. In addition, more than 2,500 people have been arrested. Internet and communications are restricted, making it difficult to verify and spread information.
The protests began due to economic hardships, especially rising inflation, and have spread to more than 100 cities and districts in Iran. Protesters are demanding the end of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's rule. Khamenei calls the protesters "vandals trying to please Trump."
Foreign countries are also monitoring the situation. US President Donald Trump said the US stands ready to give Iran a "very hard" response, but no specific military action has been mentioned. International human rights organizations criticize the use of force by security forces and the suppression of protests.
