Chevrolet is preparing to unveil its third-generation Bolt EV, and it’s set to look quite different, obozrevatel.com reported.
The 2026 Bolt was previewed on the TALKWHEELS channel. It’s a small hatchback, and Chevrolet plans to expand the Bolt lineup to include a crossover. Production will take place at GM’s updated Kansas City plant, previously used for the Malibu sedan.
The vehicle will be powered by a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, which allows for faster and cheaper production. The estimated price is under $30,000.
Though GM initially considered ending the Bolt line, growing demand convinced the company to bring it back — possibly even with an even more affordable variant later on. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
