
Photos have surfaced of a Chevrolet Corvette C8 prototype fitted with emissions test gear, reports SpeedMe.ru. The car has wide bodywork and components from the Z06 Carbon Aero package.
Experts suggest it could be an early Grand Sport or hybrid E-Ray with a new engine. Under the hood may lie the next-gen Small Block V8, which will replace the LT2 engine.
GM previously invested $579 million in its Flint plant to produce the new motor, which will debut in the 2027 Silverado and Sierra, followed by Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, and Escalade.
