BMW X7 Black-α Edition launches in Japan

BMW has launched its most stylish SUV — the BMW X7 Black-α Edition — in Japan, reported Daily Motor. This is a rare special edition designed exclusively for the Japanese market, limited to just 1000 units.

The model features an exclusive Individual Frozen Black matte body color, 22-inch M wheels, and a refined luxury interior.

The central console was designed by renowned Japanese artist Hattori Idzusai using traditional “maki-e” lacquer, with added neodymium decor. The interior is completed with a wool carpet featuring a water ripple pattern, made by Kawashima Fabric.

The Black-α Edition is offered in two variants:
• xDrive40d – 3.0-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with 340 hp.
• M60i xDrive – 4.4-liter V8 petrol turbo engine with 530 hp, accelerating 0–100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.

Prices range from 16,250,000 to 21,400,000 yen — approximately 1,300,000,000 to 1,712,000,000 Uzbek soums.
