Ben Collins sets Top Gear record in Praga Bohema
The Czech supercar Praga Bohema became the fastest production road car with a non-electric powertrain on the Top Gear test track in Dunsfold, UK, Auto.mail.ru reported. The record was set by British driver Ben Collins, formerly known as the “Stig” on Top Gear.

Behind the wheel of the Praga Bohema, Collins completed the 2.82-kilometer lap in 1 minute and 9.8 seconds. This was just 0.2 seconds slower than the hybrid hypercar Aston Martin Valkyrie, which previously held the top spot.

Praga plans to produce only 89 units of the Bohema, all hand-assembled in the Czech Republic. Deliveries to first customers began late last year.

The Bohema is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine from the Nissan GT-R, producing 700 hp (750 Nm). It weighs less than 1 ton. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 2.3 seconds, and top speed exceeds 300 km/h. At 250 km/h, its advanced aerodynamics generate over 900 kg of downforce.
