The new fines for traffic violations are as follows:

  • Moving into the oncoming lane: 4,120,000 soums;
  • Driving a vehicle while intoxicated: a fine of up to 10,300,000 soums or up to 3 years of driving ban;
  • Installing tinted windows on a car without a permit: 10,300,000 soums.

The reason for the increase in the above-mentioned fines is the increase in road traffic accidents in our country in recent years. As is known, non-compliance with the rules leads to various accidents, even life-threatening situations. That is why this measure was taken to ensure that drivers comply with safety requirements.

It is also noted that road patrol officers and modern automated control systems will begin to actively work to determine and monitor fines. That is, violations of the new rules will be automatically recorded, which will be an important factor in increasing discipline and preventing violations.

Dear drivers, for the safety of yourself and your loved ones, strictly follow the rules of the road! We remind you that road safety is a common responsibility for each of us. To prevent unpleasant situations associated with the updated fines, do not forget to have your cars inspected on time, keep your documents in order, and follow the rules of the road.

May your actions always be safe and reasonable!
